These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website at pakenhamguttercleaning.com.au and the provision of services by Pakenham Gutter Cleaning (“we”, “us”, “our”). By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Please read them carefully before proceeding.
Our Services
Pakenham Gutter Cleaning provides the following residential exterior cleaning services across Pakenham and South East Melbourne:
- Gutter cleaning and downpipe flushing
- Solar panel cleaning
- Window cleaning
- Roof and drainage maintenance inspections
All services are carried out by the owner-operator. We do not use subcontractors.
We do not provide:
- Roof repairs or structural roof work
- High-risk two-storey pressure washing
- Any work that requires a licensed builder or roofing contractor
If we identify an issue during our service that requires specialist attention, we will advise you honestly and recommend you seek an appropriate licensed professional.
Quotes and Pricing
- All quotes are provided free of charge following an in-person assessment of your property
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
- Final pricing is confirmed prior to commencement of work
- We do not commence any work without your explicit approval of the quoted price
- Additional work identified on the day will be discussed and quoted separately before proceeding
- We reserve the right to adjust a quote if site conditions differ materially from what was assessed
Bookings and Scheduling
- Bookings are confirmed via phone or written communication (text or email)
- We will provide you with a scheduled date and approximate arrival window
- We make every effort to arrive within the agreed timeframe. Delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances will be communicated to you as early as possible
- We reserve the right to reschedule services in the event of unsafe weather conditions, including high winds, heavy rain, or storms
Cancellations and Rescheduling
- We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may incur a call-out fee at our discretion
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control, with no cancellation fee applied
Payment Terms
- Payment is due on completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing
- We accept payment via bank transfer, cash, or other methods confirmed at the time of booking
- Invoices not paid within 7 days of the service date may incur a late payment fee
- For larger jobs, a deposit may be requested prior to commencement
Access to Property
- You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to all areas of the property required to perform the service
- Any hazards, obstacles, or restrictions on the property must be communicated to us prior to the service date
- We reserve the right to decline or pause work if site conditions are deemed unsafe
- You are responsible for ensuring pets are secured and people are clear of the work area during the service
Before & After Photos
- Pakenham Gutter Cleaning takes before and after photos of every job as part of our standard service
- These photos are taken for quality assurance and customer transparency purposes
- Photos may be used on our website, Google Business Profile, or social media for marketing purposes
- If you do not wish for your property photos to be used in marketing, please notify us in writing before the service and we will respect your request
Liability
- Pakenham Gutter Cleaning is fully insured for public liability. Proof of insurance is available upon request
- We take every precaution to carry out our work safely and professionally
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage to gutters, solar panels, windows, roofing, or any other part of the property that was present before our service commenced
- We are not liable for damage caused by blocked gutters, overflowing water, or drainage issues that existed prior to our service
- Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided
Satisfaction and Complaints
- We take pride in every job and stand behind the quality of our work
- If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 48 hours of the service being completed
- We will make every reasonable effort to address your concern promptly and fairly
